Frequently asked questions

What people usually ask before buying: how they are made, shipping and payment.

How is a mini diorama made?

Each figure is modelled in 3D from scratch and printed in high-definition resin. It is then hand painted with acrylics and an airbrush, and the scene is built with real materials. The full process is described in About the artist.

Is every piece unique?

They are made one at a time and by hand, so no two are identical: the painted details and the set-up of the scene vary. The units available for each piece are shown on its page.

How much is shipping?

It depends on the destination country and is calculated as soon as you choose it, before paying. All rates are listed in Shipping.

How long does delivery take?

Every piece is prepared and packed by hand before it leaves the workshop. Transit time depends on the country and the carrier; estimated times per zone are in Shipping. We email you as soon as the parcel ships.

Do you ship outside the European Union?

Yes, we ship to much of the world. In those cases the parcel may go through customs and incur import duties or taxes at destination, payable by the buyer.

How can I pay?

By card, PayPal or Klarna, without leaving the site. Payment details go straight to Stripe: the shop never sees or stores them.

Can I see prices in US dollars?

Yes, with the € / $ switch in the top bar. The dollar price is indicative, using the European Central Bank rate: you are always charged in euros.

Do I need an account to buy?

No. You check out as a guest, with no account and no passwords. We only ask for what is needed to ship your order and issue the invoice.

How do I look after the piece?

Like any painted miniature: away from direct sunlight, which fades the colours over time, and away from damp. Dust on the case wipes off with a soft dry cloth.
